The second
day of competition has ended in this years National Golden Gloves
Tournament of Champions with more Michigan-based boxers advancing
while, for others, hopes of returning home with a championship ring
were quashed.
Seven
boxers from the state of Michigan competed with four moving forward,
slightly better than the 4-2 ratio from Monday, as regional Golden
Gloves winners from across the country competed in Salt Lake City’s
Salt Palace.
Preliminary
bouts conclude this evening and those boxers that have not yet fought
are expected to tonight..
